im changkyun (임창균)
born on january 26th,1996 in gwangju, south korea. known by the stage name I.M (아이엠), is a rapper, singer, and songwriter.
5-member group called nu'bility former member, wherein he used his real name (changkyun). after a 2-year training session, nu'bility's debut was planned to happen on the first half of 2014, but never came to fruition so the members took different directions.
debuted on may 14th, 2015 after being the sixth trainee picked to be in starship entertaintment's new boygroup monsta x, through mnet's survival show no.mercy. he's now monsta x's rapper, dancer and maknae.
he lived abroad 7 years during his childhood because of his father's work, so that's why his english is now fluent.
he has writing credits on the majority of monsta x's discography as he writes his rap verses. actually, he has over 90 writing and producing credits registered with the korea music copyright association (KOMCA).
he also writes and produces for his solo work and collaborative projects.
